Welcome to Maryland!  I’ll assume if you’re visiting this page, you are considering accepting one of the 27,000+ BRAC positions coming to Fort Meade.  Congratulations!

As a native Marylander, I believe you’ll find that our beautiful state offers something for everyone.  Whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast, a sports fan, a patron of the arts or looking for an exciting night life, Maryland is the perfect place to call home.   You’re just a short drive from our Nation’s Capital, the beaches at Ocean City, the mountain ranges in Pennsylvania and Virginia and the night life of Baltimore and Annapolis.  Our counties have a wide range of offerings as well.  Interested in water sports, recreational events such as golf, prefer the bustle of the city or the solitude of farm life.  It’s all here within a stones throw of Fort Meade.
